Privacy policy

Short version: this site does not track you, and it stores nothing about you on our side, because there is no our side.

The short version

This is a static website. Every page is a pre-generated file. There is no application server, no database, no user accounts and no analytics. Nothing you do here is recorded by us.

What we do not do

  • No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind.
  • No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
  • No cookies set by this site.
  • No third-party fonts, scripts or assets requested at runtime.
  • No account system, so no personal data is collected to store.

Local storage

One studio preference is stored in your browser's session storage: a flag remembering that you chose to load the 3D version on a small screen. It exists only for that browsing session, it never leaves your device, and closing the tab clears it. No other client-side storage is used.

The contact form

The contact form is a demonstration. It performs client-side validation and then tells you that nothing was sent, because there is no server to send it to. Nothing you type is transmitted or stored. To actually reach us, use the email address on the contact page.

External links

Some pages quote and link to community forums and magazines. Those links carry rel="nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab. Once you follow one, the destination site's own privacy policy applies, and we have no control over it.

The 3D tools

The 3D simulators run entirely in your browser. The rendering library is served from this site, not from a content delivery network. Nothing about your device is transmitted anywhere; the capability report on the studio pages is computed locally and displayed to you, and is never sent.

Children

This site is an educational reference for a workshop craft. It is not directed at children, and it collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the version number in the footer changes with it. The current version is 1.0.0.
